With an extensive background in orthopedic surgery, commitment to patient care and education, and global leadership in surgical education, Dr. Bransford brings invaluable expertise to the Proprio team.
Dr. Bransford is a highly respected orthopedic surgeon, currently practicing at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center, known for his advanced skills in treating both pediatric and adult patients with spinal disorders and injuries. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to improving healthcare practices and education. As a Professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Washington, Bransford has played a pivotal role in training the next generation of physicians and surgeons.
Dr. Bransford was the lead surgeon on Paradigm's first-in-human case in October 2023 at Harborview Medical Center where he played a critical role in the first implementation of Proprio's innovative surgical technology in the OR. In his new role, Dr. Bransford will focus on optimizing user experience and empowering surgeons to fully leverage the benefits of Paradigm's technology.
